A vintage photographic postcard showing the North Shore Gardens and Promenade at Blackpool, Lancashire.

The sepia-toned view looks along the promenade towards the sea, with the landscaped gardens, decorative stone urns, benches and seaside buildings visible along the shoreline. The image captures Blackpool's quieter North Shore promenade during the early 1930s.

Posted in August 1933, this postcard also includes an original handwritten message describing a stay in Blackpool and the glorious weather.

A lovely addition to a collection of Blackpool, seaside and Lancashire postcards, or to anyone interested in the changing appearance of British seaside resorts.
